My name is Marieke Kersten, I am 21 years old and a fourth-year graphic design student at ArtEZ Zwolle, The Netherlands. With my design work I like to create thought-provoking and meaningful designs and try to draw attention to important causes when I can.

I am quite a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail. I am really passionate about what I do and I pay close attention to every little detail. However I can experiment and go with the flow as well when needed. I like almost everything that is creative although my passion really lies with artisan design work like screen printing and bookbinding. Besides that I love typography and identity branding design as well.

I think design is a powerful way to connect people and spread a message. I am excited to keep growing as a designer and hope to help make this world a better one.
